Here is a true story regarding exams at Cambridge University. It

The book titled "Poems and Memoirs" is by one of us; an RHS Old Boy.

Arthur Charles Skeats joined Holbrook in 1938 and early in the book he describes a moment of sadness, how one boy saluted his CPO father as he said goodbye at Liverpool Street Station with tears running down his cheeks.
